Hello to all the GATE Aspirants,
I had put the GATE 2009 Computer Science Question Paper for download and many of you had asked me to put up the papers of the other branches as well. It took quite sometime to gather the other papers. But finally here it is !! All the papers are in PDF Format.

regarding the seats and the cutoffs, I am still collecting it… Only a few of the IITs and the NITs put up the cutoffs and the seats…. Still I am trying to get as many as possible…. As soon as I get the correct info, I will put it up here…

will all IIT or NIT colleges will take admission after clearing gate exam from Engineering science (XE) & which branch will be alloted in that condition.

Hello Vikas,
Regarding the paper of Engineering Sciences (XE), I won’t make fake promise that I will upload it as soon as possible… To tell u the truth, its really difficult to get past year papers of such branches as the students are really less and moreover, at present I don’t know anybody who has appeared for this branch. I will try my best to upload but don’t just solely depend on me… Keep trying on ur side as well and if u r able to get the papers on the net, do let others know by posting the link here…
Regarding the allotment of the branch, it would be really good if you can call at the IIT or NIT of your choice and ask them directly.

Regarding PI, I’ll try to cover as much as I can but I can’t promise… Till date I am also unable to find the papers of many such branches… but m still trying..
Regarding the marks needed for 98 percentile, just keep in mind that it varies every time and for every branch. If last year 98 percentile was at 45 mks out of 100, it may or may not be 45 this time. It may go high or it may go low.. Generally speaking, if u r aiming for the IITs then keep a goal of atleast 50+ mks. Over the years it has been seen that if u score 50+ then ur chances of landing in the IITs are much much higher. And if u become an IITian, u won’t have to worry about the placement.

I actually wanted old question papers of xe. I want to opt thermodynamics and fluid mechanics other than maths (which is compulsory). Even if I get 1 paper that should be good enough for me. More are welcome.

If u have read the comments u would have noticed there are many readers requesting for papers of different branches and I have requested them to wait if possible. The problem is that papers for Maths, XE, XL aren’t easily available. I am trying my best to get them. Will upload it here as soon as I get them.

Hello Nishi, I have already uploaded the Civil paper.. regarding the solution it would be difficult but I am trying.
Cutoffs will be uploaded after the exam i.e. in the month of Feb. Right now, concentrate on ur preparations. u’ll have sufficient amount of time to check out the cutoffs of various colleges once ur exams are over…

After the GATE Exam there is ample amount of time to checkout the colleges and the cutoffs. So I’ll be posting those details in the month of February after the exam.
At present I am focusing on gathering material related to GATE which could be of help to the GATE Aspirants.
Regarding the papers, I’ll be uploading them in a day or two.. so keep checking or just subscribe in the way u like.. just check the top right of the page.
